@coryoncarsofficial: 2014 Mazda CX-5 AWD | 89k Miles | Brake Switch & Lower Control Arm This car came in for a check engine light diagnosis and when the customer dropped it off, he said he noticed that the push button start takes a few tries and that the shift is getting stuck in park. During the inspection I noticed that the brake lights were also intermittently not working. There were several warning lights and dash messages and codes in bunch of different modules all pointing at the brake switch circuit. It ended up being the brake switch itself causing all issues and we also found that the right front lower control arm was ready for repalcement. #mazda #cx5 #controlarm #brakeswitch #checkenginelight

Yo can I get some advice for my 2016 dodge dart? I’ve had an on-and-off ABS & traction light on, sometimes with the engine, sometimes without, sometimes just the engine light. When it’s on the steering gets a little heavy. I’m doing DIY because that’s all I can afford & I want the practice, and I don’t have ramps or an OBS scanner (neither do the local shops that do free diagnostics). Based on how it was acting, I first suspected a sensor or connective issue, so I’ve checked my speed sensors and reset them. When I jacked it up to access the wheel wells, it locked my e brake on the rear passenger side— a common fault with the dart. The warning message came on for that as well. I fixed that yesterday and had to reconnect the cable to the equalizer under the console. E brake and rotors are working perfectly now, but the warning still appears on the screen when I start the engine. It’s now also revving / jerking forward when I accelerate. Current plan is to double check the oil & brake fluid levels, check the fuses, let it run idle for a bit, and try to reset the speedometer by getting her to speed for a few minutes.

If you ever get the chance to do a diag on a p0711 I’d love to see it! My 2017 gmc sierra is throwing that code and I’m waiting on parts but I would love to see how this gets done!
