meanwhile my wedding was Ren faire themed and all the groomsmen arrive in full Ren gear with no problems. those same men couldn't navigate a suit to save their lives but poofy Bard shorts and armor was easy peasy for them lmfao

My husband was a groomsman for one of my college friends. All of the groomsmen were late to the ceremony because “we had to go in the drive thru because none of us had eaten” while I was a floor above them getting ready 🤣

Too real. I was a groomsman in a wedding where the other groomsmen couldn't remember if we were supposed to wear belts or suspenders and, in spite of the suspenders matching the ties and pocket squares, they all decided to wear both until someone could ask the bride. Nobody asked the bride.

Fellas: unless your bride insists on a tuxedo, spend the money on a custom or made to measure suit instead. You can get any combination of fabrics (light, heavy, etc), styles, and colors, plus an item you can wear for life.
