That is so crazy! I asked an employee once to check my gift card after a purchase I did for the balance. It was less than $8 and I read the back of the gift card that you can get Cashback on it if it’s less than $10 and they swear I was trying to scam them for that $8 that they even had two managers to get approval for my request and denied it☠️they’re excuse was bc I “didn’t request to get cash back on a balance inquiry during my purchase?¿” like I rarely shop there and don’t know how much I had and wanted to get rid of the gift card

btw guys u don’t need a receipt but you need an ID which helps us keep track of your returns and pass the limit lol coming from a bbw employee but in general majority of the times its a “we will do this this one time” 😭
