he was a big part of my life, he thought me how to love someone, how to change for love and at first i thought we we're actually close to being together—and not just being friends and that was my biggest mistake:). I romanticized his actions and words, and I hate to admit this but I fell for my ex's friend—him. Nung una i brushed it off, thinking na I just liked having him around. Our weeks of talking turned to months, and in those months, I started falling even harder for him till it was consuming me. I realized that I was deep into our friendship where his mixed signals started hurting me so bad that I had to cut him off and was so afraid to hurt him, yet it felt like he was giving me hope and signs that he liked me. Yet I always found myself envying the girl he was being shipped with, cause it felt like i was everything she wasn't. I thought he didn't like her since he said that himself, but it felt like fuel was being added to my burning heart that was fueled with love for him. I was broken, genuinely. Everything reminded me of him to the point that even the songs I love reminded him of me, almost like he was haunting me. Then I heard from my own friend that she also caught interest in him, causing my hopes to be crushed under the pain of jealousy. Knowing she was smart, pretty, rich, and charming, making me feel like I had no chance. I held onto hopes that consumed me. Yet I genuinely had to let go, even if it hurts me, even if it's still haunting me everyday, everywhere, and in every song. In the end? He was the greatest lesson I've learned. He thought me how to love myself:). Thank you ami.
