Blue Cookie Monster Cookies with Oreo, Cookie & White Chocolate Topping 💙🥛 Ingredients For the cookie dough: - 1 cup (225 g) unsalted butter, softened - ¾ cup granulated sugar - ¾ cup brown sugar - 2 large eggs - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract - Blue food coloring (gel works best) - 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour - 1 teaspoon baking soda - ½ teaspoon salt Mix-ins & topping: - 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies - 1 cup chopped chocolate chip cookies (or cookie chunks) - 1 cup white chocolate chips or chunks - Extra Oreos, cookie pieces, and white chocolate for topping Instructions: 1. Preheat the oven Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. Cream the butter and sugars In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. 3. Add eggs and color Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract. Mix in blue food coloring until you reach a bright Cookie Monster blue. 4. Mix dry ingredients In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture. 5. Fold in the goodies Gently fold in the crushed Oreos, chopped cookies, and white chocolate chips. 6. Shape and top the cookies Scoop large cookie dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them. Press extra Oreo pieces, cookie chunks, and white chocolate on top. 7.Bake Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers are still soft. 8.Cool and enjoy Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
