I don’t think a lot of those men realize there are a ton of us women that play these games, and we love seeing female characters that we can relate to more. I grew up idolizing characters like Sam. Helped me realize I could do anything men could, even though I have to work harder for it. I’m now a veteran and that motivation literally came from female characters I saw growing up. Women aren’t for your entertainment.

Plenty of badass women in old Gears games and other franchises, and plenty of them arent just eye candy. ... the problem in these days a lot of them are writen bad, and not as badasses but as annoying "girl bosses". ... and thats what those grifters ignore, just blame women characters in general.
