I lived in Long Beach from the 70's thru 2011 and don't ever remember the beaches flooding like this. Seal Beach got it with other El Niños, but I don't ever remember Alamitos Beach doing this 😱

Good that you checked it out personally with your eyes. I'm here in Florida just going through the hurricane here. I'm on the east side so it didn't get too bad here, but our coast also has been ravish on the east side sand has been taken away in many beaches so so sad to see California getting beat up as well. Good report.
