im in exactly that position right now! relationship of 20 years ended last week. although heartbroken, i came to realise id outgrown that situation. it was no longer allowing me to thrive. i spent weeks feeling really restricted and held back, even dismissed. i have been focusing on myself more and more over the past few months. i had burnt out, looking after everyone elses interests and fitting into their agenda. last weeks break up severed the tie to my old way of life. im still struggling a little from time with detatching emotionally but i know that i will emerge from the pain, a better person. ive reorganised my home, ive cleared out a lot of stuff that is no longer relevant. i am no longer hoarding unnessesary items (and people too). its like seeing the woods for the trees. the change has been especially hard as im autistic and major change is especially destabilising for me. i do feel as if i have committed to this forward journey. just trying to restore balance and enhance more efficient use of my energy and time. the cards couldnt have been more spot on! thank you!
