Dallas chose to stand behind Arike over all those other players. And those choices, trades, etc were made by a different GM & coach. VB was waived in her rookie year by Dallas. They never gave her a chance. Dallas fired that other GM & coach after the 9 win 2024 season & they hired Curt who hired man bun & drafted Paige in 2025. Curt knew he couldn't keep manbun after the 2025 season & getting another #1 pick. Do I think Jose was the right choice? I mean, I'm still giving him the chance. Curt should've hired Lisa Leslie instead of manbun in my opinion, but he didn't so we move on. Curt is cooking right now, give him a chance. Do I think that Jose will be the long term coach? I would be crazy to say he's the future of Dallas. He will get 2 seasons & some roster updates to see if he has earned a 3rd season. These homophobic idiots wanna say because Curt signed DiJonai & NaLyssa last season & then Azzi this season that they're choosing relationships over winning. It would be a bigger mistake to pass on Azzi just because she's in a relationship with Paige. And had Dallas done that, people would be calling for Curt's head next season when Azzi is cooking the Wings on another team.
