The tiger was an Amur Tiger, also known as a Siberian Tiger. The largest of all the cats. The zoo has a 2 acre tiger enclosure that replicates their natural habitat. Their homeland is the Amur region of Russia in the far east of Siberia. These tigers are part of a conservation programme internationally as there’s only around 500 left in the wild. The tiger was unharmed and reports of visitors hearing gunshots being fired into the enclosure were most likely tranquilliser darts to allow the authorities to get to the man inside the enclosure.

I know it’s not the tigers fault but why don’t parks put up second fence taller away from tigers ect electric ones that will harm anyone trying to climb them and them so that the is no up and over them, then stupid people can’t get in there with them
