@sandybetweentheli: I'm trying my absolute best to keep this review in code and not give anything away, so forgive me if I sound a little cryptic! I JUST LOVE LOVE! And this book had me feeling ALL the emotions! The frustration, the heartbreak, the love, and the relief! A couple of these characters really tested my patience. If you've been following the Beasts of the Briar series, you know this book is all about Day. And let me tell you... Day's "relationship" throughout this book had me absolutely LOSING MY MIND! I cannot tell you how many times I yelled, "SHE ISN'T THE ONE!" or physically slapped my book screaming, "NOOO!" But leave it to Elizabeth and Helen to make us fall hopelessly in love with every single one of these characters. They have us rooting for ALL of them to find their happiness, their love, and their bonds, while putting our poor bookish hearts through the wringer! And just like the previous books, the twists, turns, and OH MY GOSH moments do NOT stop! Every time I thought I had something figured out, something else happened! This book keeps you on your toes in the most deliciously frustrating way, and I ate up every second of it! Fun little bookish confession: This was my very first why choose series! I went into the first book completely blind, with absolutely NO idea what "why choose" even meant. MY EYES WERE OPENED AND MY PEARLS WERE CLUTCHED! The love, the chaos, the bonds, the emotional roller coaster... Now excuse me while I immediately dive into Frozen by Stardust because I NEED MORE! @Elizabeth Helen
