Makes me so sad… he wants out.. walks the same path every day pacing.. look at the dirt trail he’s made… I grew up loving zoo’s, but I’ve gotten older and wiser and realize it’s so so wrong. Poor baby

I use to find these behaviors concerning until i learned more about wild tiger behavior. Tigers in the wild spend all their non hunting time securing and patrolling the perimeter of their territory. No matter how big the enclosure was- even if it was acres larger- we would still see this pacing behavior and find worn paths along the edge of the tigers territory.

Look beyond the point of it being a tiger,it has tasted flowing human flesh,thats why most get put down for the safety of the zoo workers,but yeah its sad that it will be killed for being a tiger
