my piercer knew what to hit, and it worked for a couple of years until the piercing slowly moved away from the point of effect.

Dait piercing been a year still gets irritated and swollen time to times it’s never truly healed like other piercings. Anyone having this issue?

It annoys me to no end that people keep recommending it to me. The nerves in my head area are so fried because of chronic migraine that I cried while getting Botox injections because it hurt so bad so I am not willing to get a piercing that probably does nothing

Got mine done 10+ years ago and it decreased how significant my migraines were. Didn’t take them away but grateful they are not nearly as bad anymore.

I’m gonna be honest it depends on the piercer. When I had mine done, it was somebody who had studied anatomy and knew exactly how to hit that nerve when I had the piercing in, I didn’t have a migraine for a solid year. Then I got swollen because I got an infection in the ear and had to have it removed.

I’ve had mine for a year and I seriously believe it’s worked for me. They haven’t gone away completely but they have reduced a huge amount 🥰

I was at my breaking point years ago from migraines and went to a piercing place to have this done but I don’t have the ear real estate for it so they wouldn’t do it.

I've learned more about my migraines over the last month seeing these videos than I did in 45 years of life, and close to 30 years of actually suffering from migraines!!

I went 3.5 years without a headache taking me out during a migraine attack after getting my daith. I still got my normal symptoms (mild aphasia, fatigue, nausea, water taste changes, etc) but the lack of pain was a game changer. Went into it knowing it might not work and I would end up with a cool piercing. My typical migraine came back with a vengeance and had my first ever intractable episode for 11 days straight in summer 2025. Had to relearn all my triggers and coping strategies and completely scrap my med plan and start from scratch
