Bwindi Impenetrable National Park currently has 23-24 fully habituated gorilla families open for tourism plus 2 families under habituation for the 4-hour experience spread across its 4 sectors: Buhoma in the north, Ruhija in the east, and Rushaga and Nkuringo in the south, with Rushaga having the most families (around 8-10). In total including unhabituated and research groups, the park shelters about 27 families and around 600 mountain gorillas, almost half of all mountain gorillas left in the world. #ugandasafari #primates #gorillatours #safari
