@j0nsk3y: The Pentagon says it plans to livestream the execution of Nidal Malik Hasan, the former Army psychiatrist convicted of killing 13 people and injuring 32 others in the 2009 Fort Hood shooting in Texas. The U.S. Army has scheduled his execution by firing squad for December 3, 2026, at Fort Hood. The plan to broadcast the execution has sparked debate over capital punishment, public access, and the ethics of showing an execution to the public. This raises some serious questions: Should an execution be livestreamed for the public to watch? Would you watch it? And do you believe the death penalty is an appropriate punishment in cases like this? I'm interested in hearing your perspectives. Let's have a respectful discussion. couple of points
1. is betraying the united states by murdering 12 unarmed soldiers in a hospital not a big enough crime?
2. if the death penalty was the easy way out why do all inmates drag it out with appeals after appeals.
3. you say "i dont know if he deserves it" but then you say our own government may end up on the livestream? Who in government right now murdered 13 people?
4. the shooting occurred in 2009... hes had 17 more years to live than the 13 lives he took.
5. yes it should be livestreamed so the fuckers this guy was apparently protecting can see what happens when you betray america.

So it is used for acts of treason in times of war which he performed taking the life of 13 people and wounding 30 more. Is a military thing and he was a MAJOR in the army. People who you lead blindly trusted him because he did the oath that every other soldier did and he betrayed them. It is not for entertainment purposes. I do not feel bad for him tho and never will .
