A few more turns… and there was PURPLE waiting inside. 💜🪨 This coconut geode made us work a little before it was ready to share its secret. We readjusted it, tried again, and watched our Wanderer keep turning the wheel while everyone waited to see what would be inside. Then came the crack. ✨ Inside: a sparkling lavender amethyst center surrounded by a bright white rim. The rough outside gave way to two crystal-lined halves, and suddenly we all had something very pretty to look at. “That is so pretty.” Yes. Yes, it is. 🥹💜 We love the reveal, but we also love everything that happens before it: the curiosity, the little adjustments, the anticipation, and that moment when an ordinary-looking rock becomes something you want to keep looking at. A little geology to go with the sparkle: amethyst is the purple variety of quartz. Its color can range from pale lilac to a deep purple. You don’t need a dark purple center for it to be amethyst — these softer lavender shades count, too. Take a closer look at the crystal-lined cavity and the white rim around it. Those details make this reveal beautiful even before the crystals catch the light. Which part caught your eye first: the purple color, the sparkle, or that bright border? This is why we love cracking geodes with our Wanderers. You get to be part of the discovery, from the first turn of the wheel to the first look inside. And in this video, that first look came with a very sweet reaction. Would you be happy finding this one? Or would you be hoping your coconut geode revealed smoky quartz instead?
