@lookagain.tv: October 10, 2026 | Mexico’s Pacific Coast Hurricane Simon remains a powerful Category 4 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 150 mph, putting it just 7 mph below Category 5 strength. The National Hurricane Center reported Simon about 100 miles south-southwest of Manzanillo, moving slowly north at around 5 mph, with a minimum central pressure near 932 mb. Simon is expected to approach Mexico’s west-central coast by Sunday, with hurricane conditions, dangerous storm surge, destructive surf, and extreme rainfall possible across parts of Colima, Jalisco, and Michoacán. Some areas could receive exceptionally heavy rain, increasing the risk of life-threatening flash flooding and landslides. Simon has not reached Category 5 at this time. The next intensity changes will depend on conditions immediately before landfall. #HurricaneSimon #Mexico #Hurricane #PacificHurricane #EarthSignal

LookAgain :
Simon is only 7 mph below the Category 5 threshold of 157 mph. Even if it never reaches Category 5, a 150-mph Category 4 hurricane is already an extremely dangerous storm. The key things to watch now are any last-minute intensity change and exactly where the center reaches the coast.
