Why is China Marxist-Leninist? 🇨🇳🚩 Because history already tested the alternatives. Social Darwinism promised progress through ruthless competition, and delivered domination by the strong. Anarchism rejected political power, but failed to build a durable revolutionary state. Syndicalism put its faith in autonomous unions, but could not organize society as a whole. Reformism promised capitalism could simply be improved step by step, but left the fundamental power of capital intact. China took another road. Marxism provided the analysis of capitalism, class and historical development. Leninism answered the question Marx left open: how can revolutionary theory become organized political power capable of transforming society? For the Communist Party of China, Marxism-Leninism is therefore not treated as a historical relic, but as the theoretical foundation from which Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory and later developments of socialism with Chinese characteristics emerged. As Xi Jinping has repeatedly argued: China did not abandon Marxism to modernize. It sought to adapt Marxism to Chinese conditions. Theory without organization is philosophy. Organization without theory is directionless. #politicstiktok #communism #marxism #china #xi
