Like every time something happened with me when I was young I would smile and stay gracious and think really highly of them. Sometimes it would take others pointing out that what they did to me was wrong for me to be like - oh shit, wait, you’re right that WAS really fucked up wasn’t it? In my opinion, it seems like Matt and Jonathan lied about not remembering, hence why they offered her up in the group chat. She believed them in the beginning, and then the text messages of them offering her up came out and she saw them… that does change the entire perspective of everything
