@jjohnson_photography: To capture this shot required a lot of things to come together. I had scouted this location the day prior and knew it'd be beautiful if everything lined up. On this morning the sky was clear to the east, the mountain fully out and some wispy clouds illuminated by the pink band of Venus swirling above. When I saw the first light hit the tips of Mount Rainier and this beautiful patch of fiery red huckleberry bushes start to glow I knew I got the shot. All days of scouting the hills and miles of hiking finally paid off. #fall #pnw #mountrainier #naturelover #mountain
