@theoudaily: #Sooners' quarterback John Mateer celebrated the Red River Rivalry win by riding the Sooner Schooner and wearing the Golden Hat.

prctenn :

Give the hat to the defense ngl 😭

ayethatsdev :

Huge sooner fan but matter didn’t throw for 1 touchdown….buddy has to go.

pplplzr :

We can’t believe it either

CH :

Mateer had 1 four minute drive. The defensive and kicking team won this game for Oklahoma. The offense still needs major work. He threw an interception in the first minute and a half, for Pete's sake. That was not a good start.

SLBrown10 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈 :

The defense won that game. Not Mateer.

Tim :

Happy for him! That’s some serious weight lifted off his shoulder!

AZSheepdog93 :

OU defense won that game not mateer [Laugh approved]

𝑃𝑎𝑦𝑡𝑒𝑛 :

Defense literally carried the game…

QtPi^2 :

belliebeans2 :

A GREAT win in Texas by the whole team, thank you Offense, Defense and Special teams

shelby :

That’s what it feels like John! Glad he could experience! He’s back as good in my book!

Chaz Mack :

He can’t believe he actually did his job as QB not throw ball backwards 😏😁

Such a weird rivalry OU will be ranked #3 and on pace for a national championship shot and will randomly lose to #27 Texas now Texas is #1 and randomly loses to OU
