After living in Finland for four years, I once thought that being there would give me a better chance of reuniting with my family. But life had other plans. 🥹🇫🇮 Living alone was a choice I made for my own mental well-being, but financially, things weren’t easy either, especially with the economic situation in Finland and the lack of work opportunities. Eventually, I decided to leave Finland and visit my husband in Abu Dhabi for two months. But two months together still didn’t feel enough. So, we spent another two months vacationing in the Philippines. My husband and I decided to take a leap of faith, choose each other, and give living together a real chance. No more long-distance relationship. Finland is good in so many ways but the country is depressing too tbh😩
