@richie.with.a.t: Daddy Bruce Randolph’s, Denver Colorado. This story is a great inspiration. #denver #colorado #brucerandolph #denvertimemachine #nostalgia
He may not be here anymore, but he still does help people for Thanksgiving and Christmas and that’s that’s a blessing to the people because he was a wonderful man for helping the homeless whoever needed his help he was there for them

In 1990 my dad made me volunteer at Daddy Bruce's and pass out Thanksgiving dinner's to make me understand that giving back is more important than being a selfish taker. And what hard work looks like and feels like, I'm forever thankful for that lesson. Continue to Rest In Paradise Mr.Daddy Bruce Randolph 🙏🏿🕊️

Facts that’s the history and that’s why every Thanksgiving they close the whole Bruce Randolph blvd during Thanksgiving week to give our turkeys and food for families in needs & they still do that until this day. I am real east side baby , my parents home still in the heart of the E 34th High.

I remember him I used to live right down the street off of 29th and York and we would walk over there. This was back in the late 80s. He had the BIGGEST 💜

His son Bruce Junior ran a little barbecue shack in Boulder. Right off Arapahoe, next naropa university. He carried on his father’s recipes and lived right across the street. Some of the best sauce and ribs I’ve ever eaten in my life.

I grow up in that neighborhood, he would wave at everyone from his balcony, he was such a humble person, we would stand in line for a thanksgiving dinner and my mom would make tamales from the turkey. Thank you Daddy Bruce ❤️❤️
