As someone who lives in the bush on a lake in northern Ontario (NOT muskokas actual northern Ontario a good 4 hours north of Northbay) Its NOT the bears tou need to be careful of, they're chill and don't give a shit about anything but food, its the MOOSE you should be afraid of! A bull in the rut will tell u to go F yourself in .2 seconds ! He'll squash u like a bug if he feels threatened! That beautiful majestic creature can move so fast and will trample anything he doesn't like! The black bears could give 2 shits less what's you're doing 😁 Have fun, enjoy our beauty, and remember your warm clothes its below freezing at night already. Oh and note to self, pickerel are way better than pike (if that lake has em go for it!)
