disinfecting the tools is happening because some of these palms can be $$$ and are susceptible to a thing called Fusarium wilt, which is transferred via tools when working on the palms, especially going from one to another.

maybe a little pressure washing to get rid of the nasty bits that look like dirt should make it more pretty. I know it's not part of your job but im just sayin. nice trim tho. totally got rid of some possible wasp or snake hideout.

Ugh, I use a complete leather glove, those thorns go straight thru any fabric. For those that don’t know, palms can be home to ant colonies, snakes, and even rats.
