She did want to adopt her, in fact she went through the process, but in Thailand they are too strict with adoptions and there is a lot of paperwork and it couldn't be done. She did cry because she said the girl looked like her she loved her in every way, and the little girl was also excited, but in the end the people at the orphanage wouldn't let her take her.
