My ex-wife got piss off when 20 minuyes she tried to get my daughter to stop screaming. Then she would give my daughter to me & instant silence & sleeping. But if she tried to remove her she would instantly return to crying again. It not just my daughter it would happen with though but my ex-wife was the only one that got made about it. Had a friends baby once slam it's head into the center of my chest everytime & would instantly fall asleep. I always figured it was just the relaxed peace of maybe my heartbeat or something back them. I never feared holding a baby actually. But yeah many think it's like a man's superpower or something. I think they are just natural peace in nature calming the child with their inner rhythm.

A good man tries to help his woman. As a great uncle I have an important job, I am the "Tickle Monster". Almost no tickling is performed but my great nephews have hours of fun running away from me. Most of the time all I have to do is look at them. At 71 going 72 I am very slow. The kiddos tire themselves out pretending to be scared. They sleep very well afterwards. I see many fathers who love holding their babies and doing things with them. Many toddlers regularly demand being carried on dad's neck.
