Warriors-Kings notables: Steph Curry continues to look great and healthy at 38 looking forward to a healthy Steph curry this season. Yaxel is looking more and more comfortable and his ceiling might be higher than we thought his scoring aggression, bully ball, attacking mismatches with no hesitation aggressive rebounding and his playmaking ability defensively still needs work but his aggression has been through the roof and no one has had an answer for him his presence changes everything for the warriors. I love the 3F combination of Gui Santos Yaxel, and draymond that’s the small ball that can work when you have the correct pieces around it. Brandon Williams is gonna be the best bench player the warriors have had in awhile especially the non Steph minutes and he’s been completely outplaying his competition he’s gonna be a huge piece for us this might be a very underrated signing. DeAnthony Melton has been disappointing continues to have the same flaws like last season nothing seems to have changed his offense has been non existent continues to shot chuck dribbling through traffic just hasn’t shown enough at all hope that changes my patience with melton is wearing thin if this continues I might advocate for the warriors to trade him. Draymond looks more comfortable with this small ball five with Yaxel and Gui santos instead of 3G/4G lineups which is better for him but occasionally I still see that traffic cop offense that needs to stop he’s better when he’s not playing traffic cop. Georges Niang can be a solid player but I don’t like him as a 4 especially with a 3G lineup those are the lineups I don’t wanna see constantly. Steve Kerr needs to play double big with Bassey and Horford because Bassey rebounding and athleticism would be more helpful and Horford at the 5 at 40 years old is personally not ideal but I love to see a double big combination.
