We were never a thing even though I did want to be but I rushed pressured nd made her uncomfortable I do wish I could change how I approached the whole thing but it’s too late now after what I did I’ll never hear from or see her again so all I can say is I hope she can be happy and feel all the love she’s ever deserved

When I had to leave, the main thing that hurt, aside from losing her, was I lost access to HER family. My personal honor system is if the person, who introduced me to their family, and I aren't on speaking terms anymore, then I won't speak to their family anymore as well. To me, it would be extremely disrespectful to that person if I kept in contact with their family without their approval and consent. Her family and I grew extremely close, so much so I was on Christmas cards, was at every family event, and was treated like a son with their mom. As a man who's never really had a family growing up, it literally KILLED ME to forcefully break away from them because her and I were no longer speaking. I cried for a whole day tbh. But she never saw me more then a best friend, and I had to leave for my own mental health in order to accept it. For me, it was never a sexual goal, which I believe is what she thought out friendship was, but starting our own family goal. On that day, I lost her and her family.
