“Mindset is everything” isn’t just a cool saying, it’s real. Every day for the last 5-6 years I’ve been feeding my mind with some form of personal or professional development information, conversation or thought. I was a compulsive overthinker who could think my way out of any good idea I had. I worried about what people would say, what if it failed, what if this isn’t what God wants me to do, I mean I could think of a million reasons to stay stuck. But at some point I got sick of being stagnant and I became a doer. I started taking action on the things I knew I need to do. And when I started to acheive successes, I ran into a new problem, imposter syndrome. I didn’t feel deserving, I felt like any opportunity I had could be taken away from me from someone more talented, smarter, better. This is something I’ve also released and now I’m embracing every opportunity while I have them, if I lose one, I’m still going to treat the persons involved with respect and maintain those relationships. In short, I’m just doing the best I can and not stressing 🤷🏾‍♂️ If you’re reading this and can relate to how I was, pray, stop worrying so much. The people you’re worrying about, most of them don’t care as much as you think. Just do your best, learn as much as you can learn and have fun! Ps.
