Fascism was a political ideology and political movement which started in Italy in 1920s or 1930s (i dont remember exact year) and it started trending because it was a way to fight communism back then (Communism was rising a lot, with USSR and stuff). It became so popular that other countries started making their own kind of fascist government (countries like Spain, Greece, Romania and Germany. Germany took fascism and created a different ideology by adding racism to it. The original form of fascism was not so racist and not antisemitic) in purpose to fight communism. But there is no fascism anymore, so you cant really call Trump a fascist, there are only neo-fascists but they cannot do really anything and they are mostly politically weak
