it’s funny bc if we assume this rumor is true then the fake paul wrote and played songs that were significantly more impactful and legendary than the real paul. not to mention his half century long solo career

yeah they totally just found some guy who looks exactly like him, plays the bass as good as he did, sings as good as he did, and arguably writes songs better than he did. sure

all I'm going to say is I did not believe this theory AT ALL when I first heard it. I thought I was completely rubbish and did not care. I did see how angry some Beatles fans would get and decided to look into it. I 100% believe that it is 2 different people! I can go through a simple time line I have about this, also the conspiracy started in 1966 in the UK! not in america! also find it strange that there are videos of Paul McCartney being referred to as William, Beatle Bill, Billy, and him even responding to the name! like I said I thought it was fake but I don't any more. I have a SIMPLE timeline cuz it never stops!

The eyes are different. Very close…but different. It’s not like the music industry wouldn’t pull something like this off. There was too much money to be made.

This is silly. Paul didn’t die in 1966 because Paul was never born. He’s always been a look alike ever since the Beatles started

Tony Williams :
So they tried to hide it by bringing in a lookalike but then kept putting clues and references to it in their songs? 🤔

i think the theory started to form during sgt peppers and magical mystery tour but the beatles themselves knew about it and played into it as well

it's so obvious that with the clues they put in their songs etc were just to play along and make people think it was true, they must've found it funny

Honestly, if this did happen, the replacement is SIGNIFICANTLY more talented than OG Paul, and overall he turned out to be a pretty great guy so its wtv.

And they found someone who was not only identical looking but identical sounding from Liverpool played the guitar left handed and could compose songs … all without anyone noticing even when they supposedly kept teasing people with the possibility ?

If that happened it would make sense they would replace him. At the end of the day it’s all about money. Either way that’s the world we live in whether you want to believe it or not
