@baueideticmemories: one year ago i met my very best friend. and somewhere not too long after that, i fell completely in love with her. she was the person i clicked with so easily, the person i felt safe enough to open up to because i knew she would never judge me. she showed me so much love, kindness and care, even before we were together. she made me feel safe in ways i didn’t even realise i needed. she protects me, cares for me, makes me laugh, helps me when i need it and supports me through everything. she listens to me, understands me and somehow always knows how to make things feel a little better. she never gets annoyed or frustrated with me, and she is so patient with me, even when i’m purposely trying to ragebait her just to see what reaction i can get. each day, she shows me what it feels like to be truly loved by someone. not just through the big things, but through all the little things too. through the way she speaks to me, the way she cares about how i’m feeling, the way she protects my heart and the way she continues to choose me. a year ago, i had no idea that the girl i had just met would become such an important part of my life. i didn’t know she would become my best friend, my safe place, my favourite person and the girl i would fall so deeply in love with. and now, a whole year later, i’m still so incredibly glad that out of everyone in this world, she chose me. 💜🩵 @C #criminalminds #emilyprentiss #jenniferjareau #jemily #jemilyedit
