ASICS Run Melbourne was so much better !! I know they only do up to the half marathon but seemed so much more organised than the Melbourne Mara..

The last wave of the half started at 10:35… it was so incredibly hot and to have such a lack of water was disgraceful

The fact that the finish line didn’t have any water baffled me! It was sooooo hot! 🥵

Also hardly no toilets. I did the 10km and lined up before the race for the toilets at the stadium. Was in line for 30mins, didn’t even get to go then left to go to the start line. I did Run Melbourne in July this year and it was great. I am not sure if I’ll do the Nike run again

There was water and maurten drinks, this was down stairs after you had collected the medals, if you had gone up after the medals, you wouldn’t have gotten any - in saying that, easy to miss

The 30 minute struggle walk to get a medal from someone in the dungeon of the mcg. Then finally get a water. So many people were dropping… thought it was a bit poor.

Yeah they said they couldn’t afford to supply at the event because inflation gone up very strange to hold event then if you can’t should be a accessory to sell water mandatory
