Bible Text: Genesis 37:4 “And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him.” MESSAGE: Joseph was envied by his own blood because of the favour upon his life. His story reminds us that sometimes, jealousy can come from people close to us. Not everyone who is close to you has your best interests at heart. Therefore, walk in love, but exercise wisdom. You do not need to fight everyone, explain yourself to everyone, or remain in every environment where you are constantly mistreated. Remember, forgiveness does not mean you must tolerate harmful behaviour, and love does not mean you cannot establish boundaries. LESSON: Love people, forgive them, but use wisdom in choosing your company. Let God fight your battles while you protect your peace. PRAYER: Father, give me wisdom to recognise unhealthy relationships, grace to forgive those who hurt me, and strength to walk in peace. Let envy and bitterness never rule my heart, in Jesus Name.
