@homealone.671: Christmas in the 2000s really was a different kind of magic.❤️🎄❄️ It was waking up before everyone else and staring at the presents under the tree, Christmas cartoons playing on the big box TV, multicoloured lights covering every corner of the living room and enough tinsel to decorate the entire street. School felt magical too. Paper crowns at Christmas dinner, crackers with your friends, handmade decorations hanging from the ceiling and spending the final days before the holidays doing almost anything except actual schoolwork. There were no perfectly coordinated decorations or aesthetic Christmas trees. Everything was colourful, slightly chaotic and somehow that made it better. Christmas morning meant new toys, DVDs, games, CDs or maybe the phone you had been asking for all year. Looking back, it wasn't really about how expensive the presents were. It was the excitement of being a kid and genuinely believing Christmas was the most important day of the entire year. What's one thing you remember most about Christmas in the 2000s? #nostalgia #christmas #2000s #childhood #memories
