A year ago, I was living through days I didn’t know how they would end… Days filled with fear, exhaustion, tears, and waiting. Days that changed everything inside me and made me see even the smallest things differently. A year in which I fought for my health, my future, my education, and, at times, for my life itself. I faced struggles from every direction, carrying battles that not everyone could see. There were days when I wasn’t strong. I let myself feel tired, cry, and be afraid… but somehow, I kept going. Day by day, treatment by treatment, until I finally reached the day I had been praying for. 🤍 Today marks one year since my last treatment. One year since the final step of the hardest journey of my life, and one year since I started a new chapter where I learned just how precious life truly is. This journey took a lot from me. It took away people I thought would always be there. It changed relationships, changed the way I see people, and taught me that not everyone who says they care will stay when life gets hard. But somehow, losing some people also opened my eyes. I learned who truly loved me, who genuinely cared, and who stayed beside me when I needed them the most. And for that, I will always be grateful. Most of all, I’m grateful for my family. They were my strength when I had none left, my comfort on the hardest days, and my safe place when everything felt overwhelming. I could never put into words how much their love and support meant to me. 🤍 This journey didn’t just teach me how to survive. It taught me how to appreciate life, how to protect my peace, and how to be grateful for the people who truly matter. I don’t want to remember this chapter only for the pain. I want to remember it as proof of my strength, and of every time I fell and found the courage to stand again. With all my heart, I’m grateful After Allah to Nanakali Hospital, my doctor(Hardi Jawad) you were a huge part of my healing, and I will never forget that. 🤍, and every member of the medical team who cared for me and supported me throughout this journey. To the girl who was once afraid of the future: Look how far we’ve come. A year later, I’m not the same person I was before. I’m stronger, more grateful, and more aware of the beauty of simply being alive. Grateful for every moment, every lesson, every tear, and every person who stood beside me. To everyone fighting an illness: you are not alone. Be patient, stay strong, and keep holding on. Even when it feels impossible, believe that better days will come. Everything will be okay. 🤍 Today, I’m blessed to be able to say: I made it. And now, I’m living the life I once prayed for. 🕊️🤍 #cancersurvivor #cancerfighter #nanakalihospital ❤️‍🩹
