@fragrantopedia: [Vanilla Mistral by Ormonde Jayne] 🇬🇧 Pistachio, cardamom, black pepper, pomegranate; Iris, cashmeran, fig; Sandalwood, vetiver, ambergris, vanilla. Creamy, fatty, nutty pistachio, spiced with cardamom and pepper. It isn't prickly, but rather warm and woody. The pistachio fluctuates between nuttiness and soapiness. There is a vegetal-woody ginger sweetness as well. Interestingly, there is a fruity tart-sweetness that constantly flirts between fresh-juicy and earthy-vegetal. Despite all the warm notes, the fragrance is contrastingly very cool, as if savoury spices were used in an air-conditioned room. The cool refreshing iris, woody notes, vetiver, amber and aromatics give a masculine, almost minty freshness. Lastly, the salty ambergris which (thank the heavens) is not too animalic, helps cut through the fatty nutty notes in the top.
