@drnestorrodriguez_: “Just pray to God like you’re talking to your father.” But what if you didn’t grow up with a father? What is that even supposed to look like? That was a real question for me. And I wonder how many people struggle with something similar. We’re told to pray, read the Bible, surrender to God, or seek guidance from people who seem to have it all figured out. But what if you don’t even know where to begin? Sometimes, watching how effortlessly others seem to practice their faith can make starting feel intimidating. Here’s what I’m learning: You don’t have to know how to pray perfectly to begin praying intentionally. 📖 Romans 8:26–27 reminds us that the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness and intercedes when we don’t even know what to pray for. TODAY’S PRACTICE: Forget trying to find the perfect words. Take 60 seconds and simply say: “God, I don’t know exactly how to do this, but I want to know You. Holy Spirit, teach me, guide me, and change what needs to change within me.” Then keep showing up. Every day. You don’t have to become spiritually mature before approaching God. You grow spiritually by continuing to approach Him. Just start. That’s where the relationship begins. 🙏
