Bakery-Style Chocolate Chip Cookies Ingredients * 125 g salted butter, melted (½ cup) * 100 g granulated sugar (½ cup) * 50 g brown sugar (¼ cup, packed) * 1 large egg * 8 g vanilla sugar * 177 g flour (about 1½ cups) * 2 g baking soda (½ tsp) * 3 g baking powder (¾ tsp) * 110 g dark chocolate, chopped (about ⅔ cup) Instructions 1. Melt the butter in a saucepan and continue cooking until it turns golden brown, being careful not to burn it. Let it cool, then add the granulated sugar and brown sugar and whisk until smooth. 2. Mix in the egg and vanilla sugar until fully combined. Add the flour, baking soda, and baking powder and mix just until no dry flour remains. Do not overmix. Fold in the chopped chocolate. 3. Chill the dough in the fridge for 15 minutes. 4. Preheat the oven to 320°F (160°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Scoop the dough into 6 portions and place them well spaced on the prepared baking tray. Bake on the middle rack with bottom heat only for 16 minutes. 5.
