@mach2models: Flames of War German Armor Update: Stage 4 Final top coat: King Tigers. In this stage we are applying a very thin layer of white as the final top coat. Thinned 60/40 thinner to paint, I’m lightly covering the whole tank. This does 2 things, blends all the prior modulation we did, while also allowing for the modulation to show thru the final coat to give an unevenly worn white paint job. I will complete this stage by lightly chipping edges and main foot traffic areas. No need to over do things with heavy paint chipping. Once clear coated it will get decals and final weathering will begin with oil washes/filters, and time willing pigment powder applied to simulate roast dirt/dust on tracks and lower hull.
