As someone who raised her siblings,having a child was so healing for me I was terrified I thought I wasn’t capable of being a good mom bc I never got a example of one. But then I realized I was the good example I poured loved into kids that where not mine from a young age/took care of them,cooked,bathed put them to bed ect. Being a mom isn’t about being perfect it’s about showing up and choosing love,patience and understanding

My son is just like me. But he’s so much stronger smarter and cared for so much more. He’s every best part of me and his father. But I’m still scared he’ll tell me he’ll want to die one day. I’m scared he’ll have my demons everyday but all I can do is show him he’s not alone that he’s loved a valued.
