people don't get this. submission and leading go hand in hand. when a woman can truly trust her man, it's not hard to follow him because she knows he has a plan. guys want submission but they have no leadership ability. women submit when they are confident that it's gonna actually benefit them

I like what she said but you also have to be aware of the person you're going to when you're being vulnerable and make sure that that person has the capacity to hear you. because if they're not in a place to hear that, they're going to feel attacked and it's just going to be a mess and an argument.

Great advice. Coming from a dominant woman, who just wants my man to take the lead. Taking the lead as a woman is exhausting. We have enough to do as women. We want a partner and someone that we can be a perfect compliment to.

I used to struggle with this too..because I was broken.but my man healed this parts of me...and how?he showed me not just with words but actions that he wasn't going anywhere.with reassurance.with keeping promises.with never letting me feel alone or going to sleep angry.with talking and not yelling.with never leading me down the wrong path.with patience and kindness.with teaching me why I should do what he said and not just because he said so...and he did all that because he knew that I had never been in the position to BE a woman.i always knew that's what I wanted to be but I was never taught how to be that.because I never had a REAL MAN before.my partners matched my emotions and energy instead of leading.so it took a long time ..but I can say now that the way I am today for my man......was worth all the heartbreaks that came before him....because now I know that THIS is my purpose.i give him love and in return he gives me life.

and for those non-religious folks, sometimes God is just Good Orderly Direction... the ability to go to other men and get other perspectives other than your own is good orderly direction. that can be gone without you thinking that you're putting your faith and trust in some ominous fictitious person in the sky. having the ability to pause before reacting to understand somebody else's perspective is the ability to allow your higher self to come in and choose a different path than you normally would choose.
