The greatest advice I can give to someone who’s thinking about getting a tattoo is to start small in a place you don’t look at everyday. If it still bothers you won’t be a lot to get rid of it plus it’s easy to cover up. 😭

My left arm is dedicated to my son. His finger prints have been tattooed in a constellation, his ear print (where I took a photo of a previous indent to memorialize the 3 years of nursing), then for each year his favorite “theme”/thing of the year I look up photos and he chooses. Ex. Year 1 was elephants OMG, so I have a fine line drawing, Year 2 sea life - specifically a puffer fish (color realism), Year 3, solar system all NINE planets lol he’s currently picking year 4 then I got a fine line birthday flower and date. Each year he’ll pick and I’ll get 🩷 I’ve had about 7-8 before this in inconspicuous places but idgaf my left arm is for him, always 🩷

I know a guy who removes tattoos and apparently 90% it's meme/joke tattoos like once he showed me gigantic uganda knuckles dressed as Pewdiepie on a chest that according to the guy "ruined his sex life"
