absolutely! Day kennels for daytime if I'm gone. 2 colossal crates in the bedroom; they get to choose sleep with me or go to their crates (doors are open they choose). My first breeder (30+ years ago) required I buy a crate from her along with the puppy. Good practice never regretted the requirement.

Ours were crate trained at night in our room when we slept. Primarily to make sure we heard them when they need to go potty at night instead of wandering and peeing. Our girls will find stuff to chew and having a Dane we know they will reach anything they want to and our girls will for sure chew something they shouldn’t. The mastiff eats literally anything if you’re not watching her so when we leave for more than 30 min we still need to crate them. They get treats to go in so they’re happy to go. They have blankets and Alexa plays them some music. It never causes them anxiety.

Awww we crate trained Alfie keep him safe if we are out for a short time. When we first began as a pup it took a while now he wanders in and settles down In there on his own at anytime of the day it’s his safe place his castle 🥰

I would never trust Ivan alone outside of his crate. he would probably be full of socks in matter of hours 🤣 He also settles in his crate. he can't have nice blankets like those though! Just a sad crate pad.

Mine have always been the same and they go there on their own all the time and the doors are usually open unless they need to be closed.
