@news.trending7: Shane Gillis Accidentally Drops an F-Bomb on SNL During a Dr. Seuss-Inspired Sketch Shane Gillis, 38, had a live TV slip-up on Saturday Night Live. He returned to host the show for the third time on Saturday, Oct. 10. Rosalía was the musical guest. During a Dr. Seuss-inspired sketch called “Green Eggs and Ham,” Gillis played Zachary. He was an overly protective son defending his father, Mikey Day’s The Lorax. Andrew Dismukes played Sam-I-Am, who kept pressuring the father to try the dish. Then the slip happened. “Bro, it’s a non-starter. He said he doesn’t f—ing,” Gillis said. He quickly caught himself. “Jeez, like them. Whoa, no!” The studio audience could be heard laughing. Gillis put his hand up apologetically and kept going. He could be seen visibly embarrassed. Later, Day worked the moment into the sketch. “You’re a loser, and you said a bad word!” he yelled. At the end, Gillis said, “Sorry about earlier.” Gillis last hosted in February 2024 and March 2025. Rosalía last performed on SNL in March 2022. Representatives for SNL and Gillis did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
