The other day I used Gemini to do electrical installations in my house. I know nothing of electrical stuff. I showed it photos and it told me what to do, step by step. I installed power sockets, kitchen LED lighting, room lighting, diagnosed a faulty switch and other things. Then I moved on to the venting ducts. It helped me choose the right materials, the products, how airflow works, what type of equipment I need, etc. It worked like a charm. I could do everything at my own pace, ask for clarifications, discuss my doubts and everything else I would do if I had a dedicated personal teacher. -- I don't need more intelligence than that in my life.

This is fungus analogy wrong. It is on the right path, about older AIs, but ignored the fact that the modern AIs can remember and cite sources and that the AIs use logic and reasoning.

I have noticed lately that AI will completely contradict our own life experiences that have been validated over a lifetime of experience. I have had that happen to me twice just this week. Ai can be useful in an encyclopedia kind of way..... but I became alarmed when two of my practices regarding getting well were completey contradicted by AI with no wiggle room from Ai. AI seemed so certain AND absolute. Yet I knew from my own experience that what it said with such confidence was false. I even confronted it and it doubled downed. Yet at the same time it presented me with articles that validated my own experiences. This was quite shocking to me. I realized then with a chill, AI doesn't need a weapon to kill humaity. All that it needs to do is LIE to us, especially in the realms of science, such as viruses or war or our grids, or security. So just be careful. Do not take everythg it says as thruth, without research. Do not doubt your own experiences learned over a lifetime. Yet always be open to learn somethig new. Just take AI with a grain of salt.
