@miriamezagui: We recently upgraded Messody to a big girl bed because she started climbing out of her crib and bedtime has turned into a disaster! She doesn’t go to sleep, she doesn’t stay in bed and she also keeps her sister up. Many nights until 11:00pm. 😭 Mama is tired! We are going to try skipping her nap and see if it changes anything. ##bedtime##toddler##goodnight##goodnightmoon
We had a motion activated singing gorilla that my son hated so putting it by the door kept him in bed. It wasn’t turned on but he didn’t know that. Lol

I just removed the base from my toddlers crib. lol. There mattress sits on the floor with the 4 walls around, like a cage. Haha. So much more length that they can’t get there legs over now 😂

Hi! I shortened their nap from 2 hours to 1 hr and 15 mins max. It has helped with their sleep, but also we upped their afternoon activity. They have been falling asleep well in their big kid beds!

This stage was the hardest for me with youngest too , she wanted no part of her bed when we put her in with the big kids and wanted to party all night 😂, so she had a toddler bed in our room for a few months

The lights need to be warmer. Maybe even a red light lamp

Lower the lights. Read in bed.

May the force be with you!!! If she still struggles, we found it helpful to allow them to sleep in a “nest” on the floor next to our bed. Sometimes they just need a little help with the transition of not having parents in the same room. We did not allow them in bed with us (because no one would sleep then) but we would put a pile of blankets on the floor next to our bed. They’d come in in the middle of the night and over time do this less and less.

Why sleep when there’s so much happening!! 😳 Good luck parents! One day you’ll all look back on these moments and laugh—especially after Messody has her own kids 😁💕💖

She might just be still excited to be with her sister and be “free”… I loved when I was able to share a room with my older sister 🥰

Cutting out naps saved us. My oldest would stay up til 2 am. We stopped naps, and she immediately started going to sleep on time. Also limit sugar, I’ve noticed a huge difference in getting them to sleep since I’ve limited sugar intake.

Make sure to have her find the mouse on each page! That was one of my favorites at her age ❤️
