@anyi.manchester.u: 🚨🎙️ Nemanja Vidić on Manchester United’s first-half performance against Tottenham: 🗣️ “Watching United in the first half yesterday, I kept asking myself, ‘What exactly is Carrick teaching these boys in training?’ It looked like they were playing together for the first time. Honestly, I was confused. Let me explain what I was watching. Lammens would pass to Maguire, Maguire would pass to Martínez, and Martínez would pass to Luke Shaw. Then Shaw would play a long ball forward without even aiming for a United player. Tottenham would win the ball back and launch another attack. Sometimes, Lammens would pass to Martínez, Martínez to Maguire, and Maguire to Yoro. Then Yoro would launch the ball forward without picking out anyone, and United would lose possession again. That was how they kept playing. It looked like someone had picked players from different teams and brought them together for the first time. There was no rhythm, no clear plan in possession and very little understanding between the players. But everything changed when Carrick made those substitutions around the 60th minute. United started looking more dangerous, and you could see a difference in the way they approached the game. That tells you something. The quality is there, but the team needs better coordination and a clearer plan. You cannot expect to control games if you keep giving the ball away so cheaply.” 👀🔴 [ This is the source @utdshows ]#mufc #manutd #manchesterunited #creatorsearchinsights #capcut
