@san.francisco.sto: ❤️ A Grandmother Whose Legacy Will Never Be Forgotten. Her name was Yik Oi Huang, affectionately known as Grandma Huang. Born in China in 1930, she immigrated to San Francisco and made Visitacion Valley her home. For more than 17 years, she dedicated herself to helping immigrant seniors, supporting her neighbors, and bringing people together. Tragically, her life was cut short following a violent attack in 2019. But her family and community made sure her legacy would live on. Today, the Yik Oi Huang Peace & Friendship Park in Visitacion Valley stands as a tribute to her life, kindness, and dedication to the neighborhood. 🏘️ Visitacion Valley has always been home to many cultures, generations, and families. Grandma Huang’s story is an important part of that history. ❤️ Rest in Peace, Grandma Huang (1930–2020). Deepest condolences to her entire family. 💬 DID YOU KNOW GRANDMA HUANG?
